Company background
Parent company HantePay was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. KPOS is a new product launched in 2023 by Keyus Inc, a HantePay subsidiary. HantePay is a leading payment-technology and aggregated-payment provider for the Chinese community in the US, and the US master agent for WeChat Pay, Alipay and UnionPay International.
From the all-in-one terminal to the restaurant operating system
KPOS began with one conviction: a restaurant should run on a single device, not a tangle of an iPad, a bolt-on card reader and a separate printer. So we started where it mattered most — the counter.
We launched on the all-in-one terminal
KPOS was among the first companies in the US to bring the P3 MIX to market — the Sunmi-built smart terminal, now in its third generation, that fuses payment with a large Android touchscreen in one device. Order, pay and print live in one place; the card reader is inside the hardware, not clipped to it.
Why we could do it early
KPOS owns the full stack in house — deep restaurant SaaS and payment certification alike. Most software vendors can do neither. Because we do both, we could certify, adapt and run the device live in real restaurants before almost anyone else — making our team the most experienced in the US at fusing Sunmi all-in-one hardware with large-screen restaurant software.
Generation by generation, it became an OS
That all-in-one foundation kept iterating. Each generation added more of what a restaurant actually runs on — until the terminal grew into a complete system: KPOS Core for POS, payments and back office; KPOS GO to own the customer online; KPOS AI for AI across the restaurant; KPOS Partner for white-label resellers.
Where it stands today
KPOS is the Restaurant Operating System: run the restaurant, own the customer, grow without third-party commissions. From the all-in-one terminal to the operating system that runs the whole house — the DNA never changed, the scope did.
